Cracker Barrel Just Ditched More Than Its New Logo in Another Win for Anti-Woke Activist

Date:

As Townhall reported Wednesday, Cracker Barrel’s decision to listen to customer backlash—and advice from President Trump—over its logo change was a step in the right direction, but the issues with the restaurant chain went much deeper than its signage. As conservative activist Robby Starbuck highlighted, the company had embraced a host of woke values at odds with those of its heavily conservative and rural customer base.

Like most companies under Starbuck’s microscope, it didn’t take long for them to reverse course on these more pressing issues.

Major victory to report. After a week running our pressure campaign, Cracker Barrel FINALLY caved and removed their LGBTQ and DEI page.

Let this be a message to all companies: It is now socially unacceptable to promote trans causes or DEI and it’s unacceptable to use our money for Pride events. YOU could be next if you embrace wokeness. Now’s the time to fix it.

Conservative consumers will no longer fund companies who use our money to violate our values. Just be neutral on politics and social issues. You don’t need to parrot our politics. Just stay out of politics and focus on your core business. That’s the path to greatness.

It’s my pleasure to deliver y’all another win for those of us who want sanity. Many more to come!

Starbuck acknowledged the LGBTQ employee resource group that still appears on the site, saying he is “still working on this part,” but he emphasized the other changes are nevertheless “a victory proving how unpopular the pride messaging and DEI messaging was. All the rest of it is gone now. The rest of corporate america is getting that message.”
