The Chicago Teachers’ Union protested the U.S. capturing Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, something that happened over 2,000 miles away.
Maduro and his wife were charged with narco-terrorism, importing cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, according to the 25-page indictment.

The union could spend money and efforts to improve reading and writing scores, but it’s focused on international politics instead.
